Nasla Tower Affectees Renew Appeal for Justice, Compensation, and Housing Rehabilitation

Karachi: The affectees of the demolished Nasla Tower have once again appealed to the Government of Pakistan and relevant authorities for justice, adequate compensation, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives after years of displacement. In a public appeal, the residents stated that they had invested their lifetime savings in purchasing homes at Nasla Tower through what they believed to be lawful means. They emphasized that despite the passage of several years since the building's demolition, many families remain homeless and are still waiting for compensation and rehabilitation. The affected families maintained that they had committed no wrongdoing and had purchased their apartments in good faith. However, they said they have borne the consequences of circumstances beyond their control.
