The lockdown has however resulted in lower pollution and reduced climate change adverse impact.” This was stated by Senator Nisar Memon, a former federal minister, in his message on the occasion of the World Environment Day 2020 falling on June 5. “The ‘Environment Day’ has been celebrated all over the world on June 5 in an effort to create awareness and ensure actions are in place for the protection of the environment.
