This year over 1200 students will be receiving their degrees in respective disciplines of engineering which include Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Bio-Medical, Telecommunication and Civil Engineering and Computer Science besides award of degrees to those who completed their Masters and PhD programmes.
On the occasion the students having secured first, second and third positions in their respective disciplines of engineering will be decorated with gold, silver and bronze medals.
Earlier a day before the holding of convocation, the Board of Governors of the university will meet under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Jawed H Rizvi. The board will dispose of an agenda which, among other items, will include review of convocation arrangements and approval of the same.
