Karachi: The affectees of the demolished Nasla Tower have once again appealed to the Government of Pakistan and relevant authorities for justice, adequate compensation, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives after years of displacement. In a public appeal, the residents stated that they had invested their lifetime savings in purchasing homes at Nasla Tower through what they believed to be lawful means. They emphasized that despite the passage of several years since the building's demolition, many families remain homeless and are still waiting for compensation and rehabilitation. The affected families maintained that they had committed no wrongdoing and had purchased their apartments in good faith. Karachi, March 10, 2025 – The Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK), Dr. Noveed Ahmed, has once again instructed affiliated schools to ensure that their students submit examination forms before March 14, 2025, for the upcoming annual matriculation exams. Dr. Ahmed emphasized that students who fail to submit their forms on time will not be allowed to appear in the examinations. He further clarified that no school will be permitted to send examination forms after the deadline under any circumstances. Additionally, the board has made it mandatory for schools to submit the examination forms along with complete registration details. Schools failing to comply with this requirement will have their students' results withheld. The BSEK chairman urged all students and schools to strictly follow the given instructions to avoid any inconvenience.

Governor State Bank of Pakistan, Dr. Reza Baqir, unveiled the Asaan Mobile Account (AMA) today in a launch ceremony held at SBP headquarters Karachi. AMA allows opening of a branchless banking account by dialing a simple code *2262# on a mobile phone. The account holder can then deposit money in his or her account at any branchless banking agent and use the same for transactions through mobile phone. AMA is an initiative of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to achieve National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS) target of promoting digital financial inclusion in the country. AMA has been launched with the key support of various stakeholders including PTA, NADRA, Branchless Banking (BB) Providers, Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs) and Virtual Remittance Gateway (VRG).
